What is East Coast Park parkrun?
It is a 5km run - it's you against the clock.
When is it?
Every Saturday at 7:30 am.
Where is it?
The event takes place at East Coast Park (Car Park B1), Singapore.
What does it cost to join in?
Nothing - it's free! but please register before your first run. Only ever register with parkrun once. Don't forget to bring a printed copy of your barcode (request a reminder). If you forget it, you won't get a time.
How fast do I have to be?
We all run for our own enjoyment. Please come along and join in whatever your pace!

Getting there by public transport:
The closest Saturday morning operational bus stops to the meeting point are along Tanjong Katong Road (Services #36, #48), Mountbatten Road (#12, #14, #196) and Fort Road (#30, #158). All are a ten to fifteen-minute walk from the meeting point.
The closest MRT stations to the meeting point are Stadium, Mountbatten, and Dakota (all on the Circle Line). Either jog the 2km to the meeting point or take a five-minute taxi ride (approximate cost $5-$7)
Taxis can be flagged in the morning itself or pre-booked the night before for an additional fee. Ask to be dropped off at Car Park B1, East Coast Park Service Road, Fort Road end. Car Park B1 is the first car park on your right after accessing East Coast Park Service Road from Fort Road. Allow fifteen minutes for the journey from the city center.
The approximate cost is $10-$15 plus booking fee.
Getting there on foot:
The closest underpasses to the meeting point are off Katong Park and Meyer Road.

Getting there by road:
Enter East Coast Park via East Coast Park Service Road. Park either at carpark B1 (start/finish area) or at Big Splash carpark and walk down 700m.
