The Civic and Central Business District will be transformed into a cycle-friendly, walkable and activity-filled public space with something for everyone at the next Car-Free Sunday SG on 29 May 2016. The streets will come alive for families, joggers and cyclists who can look forward to activities ranging from fitness group exercises, kid-friendly activities to a breakfast picnic.



For this third installment of the initiative, roads will be closed from 7.30am to 10am. The walking, running and cycling route will now include Esplanade Drive, forming a 5km car-free stretch – comprising St Andrew’s Road, Stamford Road, Esplanade Drive, Fullerton Road, Shenton Way and Robinson Road.  Connaught Drive will also be closed from 7.30am to 7pm to host a variety of community sporting events and activities.
