The Civic and Central Business District will be transformed into a cycle-friendly, walkable and activity-filled public space with something for everyone at the second Car-Free Sunday SG on 27 March 2016. The streets will come alive for families, joggers and cyclists who can look forward to activities ranging from fitness group exercises, kid-friendly activities to a breakfast picnic.

For this second installment of the initiative, roads will be closed to from 7.30am to 10am instead of 7am to 9am. The walking, running and cycling route will now include Esplanade Drive, forming a 5km car-free stretch – comprising St Andrew’s Road, Stamford Road, Esplanade Drive, Fullerton Road, Shenton Way and Robinson Road.  Connaught Drive will also be closed from 7.30am to 7pm to host a variety of community sporting events and activities.
