Record Setting
A badminton rally will be attempted to place a new local record in the Singapore Book of Records. The record will be decided by the total number of consecutive passes between unique number of participants without dropping the shuttlecock.

Hanwell, the title sponsor of the Longest Rally 2014 will donate up to 10,000kg of rice which will be distributed to the low-income residents of Cheng-San Seletar Division.

How Does It Work?
Each unique participant will attempt to hit a shuttlecock back & forth using badminton rackets without dropping the shuttlecock consecutively until the record is broken or when the shuttlecock drops onto the floor. If the shuttlecock drops onto the floor, the count will be reset and participants will start over again.
