Team Singapore paddlers give back to the community

It is a tradition for our paddlers to reach out to the community before their yearly stint at the World Table Tennis Championships,Budapest Hungary, 21 to 28 April 2019.  Today, Ms Ellen Lee, JP, PBM, STTA President, together with the our paddlers: Yu Mengyu, Lin Ye, Wong Xinru, Zhang Wanling, Goi Ruixian, Zeng Jian, Ethan Poh, Josh Chua and Koen Pang and the coaches brought cheer to the elderly residents at Lee Ah Mooi the Old Age Home.  The Lee Ah Mooi Old Age Home provides affordable, professional and personalize eldercare service for the needy and sick in Singapore regardless of race, language or religion.


Ms Ellen Lee, JP, PBM, STTA President says “we hope that our paddlers can bring joy and cheer to the elderly residents before their departure the World Table Tennis Championships. Our paddlers will do their utmost best at the upcoming World Table Tennis Championships.’’

She added, “The STTA has always been committed to growing the sport and introducing more new players in the national team. We are focused on a gradual push and the World Championships offers the best competitive platform to our new players.”

Singapore table tennis team will feature new faces at the upcoming World Table Tennis Championships.  Wong Xinru, 18, Goi Ruixuan, 18, Koen Pang, 17 and Josh Chua,18 will debut at the upcoming World Table Tennis Championships
