With not one but two SEA Games gold medals under his belt, Team Singapore Pencak Silat’s Muhammad Nur Alfian Bin Juma'en became one of the top athletes in Singapore when he pushed through his pain in the 2015 SEA Games and bested - world champion, Tran Dinh Nam from Vietnam, clinching his second gold medal.

The World Pencak Silat Championship 2018 is coming to Singapore

One of the lesser known sports around the world, Pencak Silat is the umbrella term used for the many different forms of Indonesian martial arts. The sport also recently made its Asian Games debut in Indonesia.
