The Singapore Slingers' centre Anthony McClain had to be assisted after the final buzzer by team mates Xavier Alexander and Marcus Elliott. He was carrying a foot injury and gave it his all but it was not enough as the Slingers lost at home 77-68 to the Kuala Lumpur Dragons.

The Slingers are currently seventh in the ASEAN Basketball League and Formosa Dreamers who are in third place next on 1 Mar. Slingers Coach Neo Beng Siang said that Anthony McClain will be a doubt for that game and that they do not have a direct replacement for him.
