The Singapore Slingers suffered another home defeat, this time against Mono Vampire, losing the game 65-67.
There was added frustration as Xavier Alexander had a last ditch effort to tie the game disallowed by the umpire as it was judged to have been taken after the buzzer had gone.
Coach Neo Beng Siang said after the game: "Today's loss is ours to blame. We never set the tempo when we were up by six points. We've been facing the same problems, the execution of our offence is not there."
The Slingers are currently seventh in the standings and their next game is at home against Heat on Jan 29.
