Editor's thoughts: Tottenham tried their best to put an end to Liverpool's unbeaten record without their captain and talisman Harry Kane but it was not to be. A clinical strike by Firmino ensured that Liverpool collected all three points against Jose Mourinho and his new club. It's getting tougher and tougher for the skeptics to deny the fact that Liverpool are on course to winning their first title in ages. Only the extremely optimistic fan can see another club overtaking Liverpool to win the Premier League trophy. Liverpool fans, on the other hand, are careful not to celebrate too early to avoid a repeat of the heartbreak in previous years.
