Leicester 3 Bournemouth 1

Man City 4 Brighton 0

Sunday’s fixtures (1 Sep)

Editor's thoughts: Arsenal showed that they are made of sterner stuff nowadays as they refused to go down against their arch rivals Tottenham despite going two goals down. There was just enough firepower up front as they managed to claw back two goals and gain a point in this derby. Ole Gunnar Solskjaer must be regretting not having some backup up front now that Martial is out and Rashford becomes his only striker available in the squad. Unless of course you count Mason Greenwood as a long term option. Daniel James must be thinking what else he must do to help his team, despite scoring three goals in four games. It seems that nothing much has changed for the Old Trafford outfit and the road to recovery will be a long and arduous one. If it were up to me, I'd say chuck the youngsters in and let them learn the hard way, i.e. the likes of Angel Gomes and Mason Greenwood. You might just discover a gem, or two.
