Two hundred (200) teams came together to compete at the STTA-PA Table Tennis Bicentennial Championships 2019 at Our Tampines Hub on 31 Aug 2019. The Championship is in celebration of the nation’s bicentennial year, and the event featured table tennis enthusiast as young as five-years-old to seniors from the Pioneer Generation. At the tournament, we were pleased to acknowledge the oldest and youngest team of the tournament.

This event is jointly organised by Singapore Table Tennis Association (STTA) and People’s Association (PA) Community Sports Club Council (CSC Council). Ms Cheng Li Hui, Adviser to Tampines GROs was the Guest-of-Honour for the event.
The Championship attracted 168 Bicentennial teams and 32 Merdeka teams (Merdeka Team comprises of at least one team member belonging to the Merdeka or Pioneer Generation).
