In conjunction with its 4th birthday celebration, more than 70 members of Team Nila supported the Singapore World Water Day's Walk for Water early on Saturday morning (March 2).
Starting off the day's programmes were the Team Nila Active Health advocate leaders, energetically leading the Walk for Water participants in warm-up sessions.

This was followed by a breezy two-kilometer walk, spanning the length of Gardens by the Bay East. The year long campaign was launched by President Halimah Yacob at Marina Barrage, where there were a number of other fringe activities and games inviting participants to learn about water-saving and its importance.
People were also free to take part in games put together by the ActiveSG team at their booth, where Team Nila volunteers shared more about staying active and giving back to the community.
Emz, a Team Nila Active Health volunteer who hails from the Philippines and has been part of the team since the 2015 SEA Games, said: "I spend many of my weekends doing this and being able to be part of this community and helping out is really what keeps me going. I've even gotten career opportunities through this, and have made so many new friends since I joined."
