Thanks to the lovely folks at adidas Singapore, I can proudly share that I am one of the first few people in Singapore to trial the new Exhibit Pack launched by adidas Football, more specifically the Predator 19.1.

Part of the Exhibit pack alongside NEMEZIZ, COPA 19 and X silos, the Exhibit Predator19+ comes in a striking new bold blue colourway with silver metallic and active red accents.
The Predator 19+ features a PURECUT LACELESS system to deliver maximum surface control. A FORGED KNIT integrated midfoot structure creates medial and lateral stability while a full length BOOST™ midsole provides energy return with every step. The boot also includes a Primeknit SOCKFIT COLLAR to ensure a supportive and comfortable fit and a layer of CONTROLSKIN to provide optimal grip. An ANATOMICAL UPPER mimics the shape of the heel to lock the foot into place.
Earlier today, I joined adidas Singapore footballers, Hougang United FC left winger, Hafiz Sujad; Warriors FC midfielder, Emmeric Ong; and Terry Lee and Terence Ong from The Urban Street Team, at the adidas Media x Creators Training Day, held at The Cage@Kallang, to give these fancy new Exhibit Pack football boots a trial run.

After a few rounds of simple drills to warm everybody up, it was time for the good old two-sided game that we had all been waiting for. Hafiz and Emmeric spearheaded Team A while Terry and Terrence led Team B into action.
At the end of the day, it was a great workout with lots of fun, sweat and goals. Personally, I have not worn a pair of adidas Predator football boots since David Beckham retired (i just revealed my age there) but the Predator 19.1 is perfectly built for precision on firm ground and made my first touch almost Messi-like.

Fine, I'm exaggerating a little bit here but the knit textile upper does provide lots of support and gave me more control when I had possession of the football. The grippy, textured coating at the front of the boot helps with the first touch too, especially if your first touch is heavy and ain't the best.
All in, these boots are really comfortable to play in and allows you to sneak that extra touch before you send the perfect through ball to your team mate. But wait, don't take my word for it. Here's what Paul Pogba has to say about the boots.

Manchester United midfielder, Paul Pogba, said of the boot: “Whenever I’m on the pitch I want to be in control of the flow of the game, from the first minute to the last. The Predator has always been for the players who want to maximise control, and this new edition helps me have that control over the ball, the midfield and the pitch”
These bad boys are already available at all Weston Corporation outlets since 22 January. The Exhibit Pack (X 18.1, Predator 19.1, Nemeziz 18.1 and Copa 19.1) will also be available at adidas Suntec, adidas ION, adidas Causeway Point and on adidas.com.sg from 29 January onwards.
