The weekends between 28 July and 5 August saw some fast and high action as the Singapore National Games 2018 manifested itself through athletics. Athletes from across the nation gathered at Bishan Stadium and Home of Athletics at Kallang to see who could hurdle faster, jump higher and dash quicker.

As one of the oldest and most prominent fixtures in the Olympics, it is heartening to see organised athletics celebrated amongst the youth as the torch continues to pass from generation to generation.
