The daily rush hour was especially pronounced here at Sports Hub as fans switched their office attire for jerseys yesterday evening. The International Champions Cup 2018 made its local debut at the Singapore National Stadium last night as Atletico Madrid and Arsenal kicked off the three-day event.

With over 23,000 spectators, the stands were painted red as Arsenal fans wore their colors proudly. Despite the heavy fan support, the Spaniards came out on top as Atletico scored 3 – 1 to Arsenal on penalties after the full time score of 1 – 1.

The next match will be on tomorrow (28 July) with Arsenal playing against Paris Saint-Germain, while Atletico Madrid will go against the French side on Sunday (29 July).
