More often than not, we tend to forget to take care of ourselves in the midst of prioritising other things. In fact, stress is detrimental to your well-being and it is important to place your mental health at the forefront this year. Truth is, the ability of creating a stress-life life lies in your hands. In today’s fast-paced world, we are often caught up in a struggle of doing more with less, balancing crazy and uphill demands, and leading through changes. Yet, focusing on what makes you healthy and strong will make you more stress-resilient.

Here are several ways of stress management to boost your well-being:
Practise Self Care
Having self-care is a conscious practice. It strengthens you physically, mentally, emotionally, and spiritually.
Get Physically Active
Being active and on the go not only supports your stamina, it also improves the health of those brain cells needed for emotional and mental strength. In a study done at the University of British Columbia, researchers found that regular aerobic exercise appears to increase the size of the hippocampus, the brain area involved in verbal memory and learning.
Find Your Purpose
Spiritually, we are all wired to connect in order to survive. Having a greater purpose and a community intrinsically motivate us. So, let go of that guilt and take small steps to learn what you need to feel strong in each arena of your life. Take an inventory list and find tiny shifts to nourish your best self. Remember, this is not a sprint to well-being. Every baby step counts.
In conclusion, learn what nurtures your mind and discover your power to meet challenges with grounded values and priorities, wisdom, and resilience. Finding peace in the chaos is achievable.
