The first ever Lion's Silat Champions League began on a high note with competitors from all over the island joining in to test their skills. The Singapore Silat Federation came up with this event with the intention of identifying potential athletes to be included in the national squad, as well as to hype up the local Silat landscape. The excitement and intensity of the matches were visible as the competitors competed to be the best.
