On 3 March, Singapore Cricket Club (SCC) overcame the Wanderers during the SRU Men's Premiership Finals and clinched the crown after a 21-years wait. From the moment the opening whistle was blown, SCC dominated the game with Wanderers often scrambling in defence. Within 15 minutes of the game, SCC had secured 6 points which placed pressure on the Wanderers to go into attack mode by the time the team entered the second half of the match. Despite the strong defence play by the Wanderers, SCC managed to score 12 points in the last 20mins of the game which placed them as the winners of the 2018 Premiership.
