Editor's thoughts: Ole Gunnar Solskjaer showed that the win against Cardiff was no fluke as he set up his team for a convincing win at Old Trafford. An ill Martial forced him to start Mata but Fred and Dalot started for tactical reasons instead of Herrera and Young. Huddersfield proved to be made of sterner stuff than Cardiff but they were eventually undone by a United team that was full of energy and pressing high up the pitch. Ole seems to have implemented a new style of play in a very short time and it makes for joyful watching if you are a United fan. Phil Jones seems like a different player altogether and his partnership with Lindelof seems to be clicking well. Pogba has rediscovered his mojo and scored two superb goals after Matic had put United ahead. This sudden uplift in spirit has surprised many pundits but it remains to be seen if this standard of performance can be maintained for the rest of the season.
