Manchester United showed there's hope after Jose Mourinho by destroying Cardiff 5-1 while Chelsea and Manchester City lost their games unexpectedly to allow United to have hopes of making top four.

Editor's thoughts: It must have made for difficult reading for Jose as he read about the way his old club dismantled Cardiff. I'm sure United would probably have won the game under Jose but probably not as free flowing as it was under Ole Gunnar Solskjaer. It was as if the invisible shackles had come off. I mean even Lindelof was bombing forward into the penalty box. This was unheard of and possibly criminal under Mourinhno. People say this is just Cardiff so there's no need to get too excited but if this is the way that United are going to play henceforth, then perhaps they should have gotten rid of Jose a long time ago.
