The fifth and final edition of the WTA Future Stars crowned new champions at the Singapore Indoor Stadium prior to the start of the 2018 BNP Paribas WTA Finals Singapore presented by SC Global.
Yang YaYi of Chinese Taipei cruised to victory, taking home the gold medal of the under-14 tournament after beating Mio Kozaki of Japan, 6–3, 6–3.

In the under-16 tournament, Ayu Ishibashi of Japan beat Annerly Poulos of Australia 7–5, 7–6 to claim the title.
Petra Kvitova of Czech Republic will take on Elina Svitolina of Ukraine in the opening match at 5 pm, followed by Caroline Wozniacki of Denmark against Karolina Pliskova of Czech Republic.
