Hockey equipment company releases skills app to help young players learn from the pros

This past Friday, CCM Hockey released its Skills App in time for the 2016-2017 hockey season. This will youth players the opportunity to train with former NHLer and hockey training specialist, Lance Pitlick, through stickhandling and shooting drills, which will help improve their on-ice technique. Users can watch :20 and :25-second clips before practicing at home and trying to unlock various achievements in the app’s virtual trophy room.

With the help of its brand ambassadors, including the likes of Edmonton Oilers forward Connor McDavid and New York Islanders captain John Tavares, CCM Hockey hopes to gain at least 10,000 downloads in 2016.
