Tickets for BNP Paribas WTA Finals Singapore go on sale

Following an exciting start to the 2016 WTA season, the BNP Paribas WTA Finals Singapore presented by SC Global announced its updated match schedule and attractive ticketing bundles for this year’s event. Both the schedule and selected tickets will be available on the new website from April 29. The world’s top eight women’s tennis singles players and doubles teams will vie for the US$7 million prize purse over 8 days and 22 matches held across 11 sessions.

This year, a new Family Day will be introduced on Sunday, October 23, to kick off the crown-jewel event of the WTA calendar season. Family Day features non-stop fun with liveion ofhe ite tennis competiton.ime to encourage supporters to celebrate Asia'nd off-court throughout the day, including roving m entertainment and fan participation activities both on and off the court throughout the day, including roving mascots, tennis activities and entertainment acts. As a bonus, a specially-priced Family Day package will be on sale for a limited time to encourage fans to join this celebration of the world’s best women players gathering in Singapore for the opening session.

For the first time, singles-only sessions will feature during the first four days of the tournament from Sunday, October 23 to Wednesday, October 26, guaranteeing fans the opportunity to catch all eight players on court when they attend the first or second pair of match sessions. The doubles competition, which will commence on Thursday, October 27 will adopt an eight-team knockout format offering fans a mix of singles and doubles matches in all subsequent sessions leading to the finals.

We’re confident this year’s fan-friendly schedule will provide everyone with a variety of options to enjoy this unique world-class sporting experience with their families and friends. And if the start of the season is anything to go by, the quality on display come October will be top-notch, and we can look forward to eight days of captivating tennis competition amongst some of the best athletes in the world.”

Advance Purchase Specials

The 2016 ticketing program will roll out in two phases. Advance purchase specials will be available in Phase One from May 6 with innovative bundles such as the Family Day Package, All Singles Evening Pass, and the Full Day Pass, on top of the popular Season passes, Racquet Club (corporate hospitality) passes and group bookings. Phase Two begins from July and will see the release of single session tickets, including those for the semi-final and final matches, as well as concession tickets.

Designed to offer fans increased flexibility and value, the passes in Phase One are available in limited quantities.

i. Families with children under the age of 16 will enjoy significant savings of 50% when they purchase the Family Day Package for the opening session on Sunday, 23 October 2016 

ii. For the avid tennis fan, the All Singles Evening Pass will assure fans the opportunity to catch all eight singles players across a pair of match sessions. 

iii. The Full Day Pass conveniently bundles same-day match sessions with savings for fans who are looking to enjoy Singles and Doubles matches on Thursday or Friday 

iv. A flexible option, the Pick 3 Combo Pass allows spectators to save 10% when they purchase a bundle of three tickets of the same category from the first eight match sessions

Tennis fanatics who do not want to miss a single second of action will find the Season Pass gives them the most sought-after seats across all 11 match sessions at an attractive price The continued partnership with official cards partner OCBC and official telecommunications and broadcast partner StarHub will see their cardmembers and customers enjoy early and exclusive access to passes beginning April 29. Single session tickets will go on sale in Phase Two in July, with OCBC cardmembers and StarHub customers also enjoying an exclusive pre-sale window to purchase.

Racquet Club

In the meantime, Racquet Club, the official hospitality program for WTA Finals, has started sales. In its third year, the Racquet Club continues to provide a true VIP tennis experience with exclusive access to players and legends of the game past and present.

This year, the BNP Paribas WTA Finals Singapore presented by SC Global welcomes back its official ambassador and WTA Legend, Martina Navratilova, who has also been appointed as the first ever ambassador for the Racquet Club. Navratilova said, “I am pleased to be back in Singapore which is a truly remarkable city and it’s amazing how it takes on a new light during the WTA Finals. Having the best in women’s tennis play on this island is a dream for the players and fans alike.
