The 8th ASEAN Para Games will be hosting its second Sport Without Boundaries Roadshow next weekend with the aim of increasing awareness on para sports and para athletes.
After its successful first run in Jurong
last month, which was graced by Minister for Culture, Community, and Youth Lawrence Wong, the second iteration will be held again in the heartlands, this time at Choa Chu Kang Sports Centre.

The two-day community sports carnival, which features para sports such as Boccia and Goalball, will give the public a chance to try their hand at the unique sports our para athletes are participating in at the end of the year. Craft activities will also be available to keep both the young and old entertained.
Minister Lawrence Wong said it was important Singaporeans stand behind our para athletes for the upcoming Para Games in December.
“The most important thing is for all Singaporeans, as they participate in these activities that we’re organising, to feel proud that we’re hosting the APG,” he said.
“After all that our para athletes have been through and the hard work they’re putting in to train and fly our flag, we would like everyone to rally behind them, support them, identify with them, and to cheer for them during the Games.”
