Heading down to the Sports Hub to catch football, aquatics and netball? Make a pit-stop at the 28th SEA Games carnival where non-sports and sports fans alike can have fun. The carnival is located outside Kallang Wave Mall and Stadium MRT (Exit A) for fringe activities that you can participate in with your friends and family to elevate your SEA Games experience. Here's our pick for the top 5 things you can do at the 28th SEA Games Carnival:
1. Pool Soccer
Love pool AND soccer? You can get the best of both worlds at the SEA Games carnival’s pool soccer booth! Kick as many balls into the hole within a limited time!
Safety tip: Participants are not allowed to kick the ball high.
2. 300-degree Table-tennis

You have probably seen the usual rectangular table-tennis table for a pair of players. This time, imagine a 300-degree semi-circular table allowing 3 pairs of your friends & family members to play at the same time - it is table-tennis with a twist!
Safety tip: Do not stand too close to each other and only up to 8 participants are allowed at any one time.
3. Hockey Golf
Have you ever tried using a hockey stick to shoot a goal for golf? This game infuses hockey into golf, which gives a novel experience to the game.
Safety tip: Do not swing the hockey stick above waist level.
4. Mega Boxing
Boxing with gloves is the norm, but have you seen people boxing with enormous gloves? Now you can, at Mega Boxing! Of course, great gloves come with great responsibility, so be careful not to injure your opponent.
Safety tip: Avoid the face and sensitive areas. Only a maximum of two people are allowed in the ring at any one time.
5. UnionPay Hot Air Balloon
Get a chance to experience how it is like to be a little higher than the ground - sign up at the UnionPay booth on-site where queues will open an hour before each ride starts. Check back daily on the availble slots per day. You can collect your tickets from 7am onwards. Check here
for more details.
Safety tip: Minimum age is 18 years old
