Syahidah Alim won Singapore's first-ever ASEAN Para Games (APG) gold in the sport after she triumphed in the women's individual compound on Sunday.
The 30-year-old beat Malaysian Nor Sa Adah 139-133 at the Kallang Cricket Field.
This is the first time that the Republic has fielded an archery team at the APG and that choice was furhter rewarded when Syahidah and team-mate Robert Fuchs in the mixed team compound final and beat Malaysia for a second gold for the home side.
They scored 147 against the 144 by the Malaysian team.
At the OCBC Arena, Mu Yuguang and Harrison Gan clinched a joint-Bronze medal at the Men's Doubles Class 10 Semi Finals.

Thomas Nathan Chan Kim Yong, Goh Jong Theng Kelvin and Mohamed Ismail Bin Hussain came in 2nd in Mixed Trios Open TPB1 + TPB1/2 + TPB1/2/3 Finals with a score of 1656, achieving the Silver medal.
