Having clinched gold for the Men’s Synchronised 3m Springboard Finals the day before, twin brothers Mark and Timothy Lee added to their medal tally this afternoon in the 1M Men’s Springboard Diving Event at the SEA Swimming Championships 2014.
The top two positions were clinched by the 19 year-old polytechnic students, with Mark coming in first place with a 319.80 points total and Timothy following closely behind with 308.35 points to clinch second. They had come in 2nd and 4th during the 2013 SEA Games finals in Myanmar.
In the Women’s 3M Springboard Event Finals, Myra Lee and Fong Kay Yian took second and third positions respectively. Even though they did not score points well in the first round, both ladies quickly warmed up in subsequent rounds to make a podium finish.
