Mr Lai Chin Kwang, Chief of Sports Club Group, Sport Singapore, commented: “We want Singaporeans to have this opportunity to enjoy bonding and doing sports together. It is our mission to create access and opportunities for everyone.”
Mr. Lai hopes to see a 15% to 20% increase in involvement in local sports and recreation centres in the coming year.
“It’s not about what we have for Singaporeans, it’s what they need – and we’ll deliver,” he shared.
In addition to revamped facilities, Singaporeans will also enjoy new fitness programmes and enhanced membership experience, all of which fall under ActiveSG’s key thrusts to enable Singaporeans to “Live Better Through Sport”.
The new programmes
and facilities will have something in store for everyone.
