With the first season of the Million Kg Challenge a success, there were some that came back to join in the health initiative.

“I signed up as I want to have a healthier lifestyle. I am able to take care of my family if I am healthier. I can also look better,” said a jovial Andy Quek.

“Their roadshows were actually quite prominent and it caught my attention. This is a long process and maintaining a good diet and exercise will help. I am ready to take on the challenge.”

Quek also had reasons to smiles as he walked away with incentives for his commitment and discipline in season one.

“When I signed up for season one, I did not have any expectation of winning any prizes. I was lucky enough to be one of the winners. I won myself a $3,000 voucher from Watsons and it was a reward as I lost weight and get a prize.”

Another visitor to the event also gave his thumbs up to the organiser and ActiveSG in their aim to nurture a healthy lifestyle in Singapore.

“I feel that I am trying to reach my objective and aim to have a healthy living. I am happy with this event and it is a good campaign. You can see the young and old people are here as the objective is to promote healthy living,” expressed Gene Gabiola.
