The BNP Paribas WTA Finals Singapore presented by SC Global will be held at the Singapore Indoor Stadium from the 17th to 26th October this year. For the first time in Asia-Pacific, tennis fans can enjoy 10 days of world-class sport entertainment featuring 8 of the world’s best women’s singles players and doubles teams.

Fans will also have the opportunity to get up close with their favourite star players such as Serena Williams, Maria Sharapova and Simona Halep as they compete for the coveted Billie Jean King trophy and a grand prize of US$6.5 million.

Some of the events you can expect include the WTA Rising Stars, where fans get to see the four emerging star players at the OCBC Arena; the Player Practice Sessions, where fans will discover the preparation secrets behind the players’ elite performances and the Official Draw Ceremonies held at Marina Bay Sands. Event goers can also enjoy a fun day out at the free-for-public Fan Festival held at the OCBC Square, with many interactive activities in store.

Tennis fans will also get the opportunity to meet recently retired tennis player, Li Na, who will also be making an appearance at the Fan Festival as a WTA Finals’ ambassador.

A tennis Coaches’ Conference will also be held at Pan Pacific on Sunday, 19th October where world-best coaches and industry experts will provide attendees with insight into the off-court preparation in developing and maintaining an elite tennis player.

From 20th to 23rd October, fans can also expect a WTA Legends Exhibition featuring tennis greats such as Martina Navratilova, Tracy Austin, Marion Bartoli and Iva Majoli. In addition, tennis enthusiasts will also get a chance to wine and dine in style while watching the world’s top women players in action at the Racquet Club hospitality suites at the Singapore Sports Hub from 20th to 26th October.

The Elusive Chanteuse Show by Mariah Carey is also part of the festivities, with a one night only concert held at the National Stadium on Friday, 24th October.
