Catch live stream of 27th SEA Games

Between 11 and 22 Dec 2013, sports fans can look forward to watching the 27th Southeast Asian (SEA) Games on Singapore Sports' Youtube channel. Besides online streaming of selected games, there will be daily highlight shows in addition to the highly anticipated opening and closing ceremony.

11 nations are competing in this edition of the SEA Games, namely, Brunei, Cambodia, Indonesia, Laos, Malaysia, Myanmar, Philippines, Singapore, Thailand, Timor-Leste and Vietnam. Singapore will be sending a contingent of 308 athletes to compete in 25 sports.

Amongst the Singapore athletes in action will be hurdler Dipna Lim-Prasad, who will be Singapore’s flag bearer at the Games. Expect a fierce competition in the pools where split second counts as Joseph Issac Schooling, Tao Li and their fellow Team Singapore swimmers battle it out with the rest of South East Asia swimmers. In water polo, Singapore men team will be aiming to win their 25th consecutive gold medal. You can support Team Singapore athletes on or on Instagram using #ourteamsg.

Capping the 11 days of action will be closing ceremony, where the road to 28th SEA Games begins. It is especially symbolic for Singapore to host the 28th SEA Games and it will be part of the celebrations of Singapore’s 50th birthday in 2015.
