Singapore, 29 October 2012 - 70 drivers took part in Round Four of the Singapore Karting Championship (SKC) over the weekend at the iconic Marina Bay F1 circuit as Polish sensation Karol Basz took top position on the podium in the AutoInc Marina Bay Karting Challenge while Javier Chng (Cadet), Amin Noorzilan (Junior), Thaddeus Lee (Senior), Eric Ho (Master) and Anthony Seow (Veteran) took pole positions in their respective categories.

Sanctioned by the Singapore Motor Sports Association (SMSA) and officiated by Singapore GP, the SKC for the first time featured world-class karters competing under the bright lights of the Marina Bay F1 circuit in the AutoInc Marina Bay Karting Challenge.

International karting stars such as Roberto Toninelli of Italy and Karol Basz of Poland were well ahead of the pack as drivers competed along a challenging 935-metre circuit, and results for each race were combined to determine the overall winners of the championship.

Round Four of the SKC was aired live on YouTube, and spectators from around the world tuned in over the weekend to catch the excitement from the race. Round Five will be the season finale of the SKC, with the event slated to take place in early December 2012.
