OneTeamSG Rally paints Orchard Road red
09 March, 2015
In a bid to allow Team Singapore supporters to get up close to our Team Singapore athletes and mingle with them, a stretch of Orchard Road was closed on 7 March as Singapore’s world-famous shopping district was turned into a sea of red.
Supporters witnessed the unfurling of the largest One Team Singapore flag to date, measuring up to ten metres by seven metres.
The flag was then moved down the Orchard Road stretch starting from ION Orchard to Paragon Shopping Centre, where it was hoisted at the end.
The night also saw the launch of the first 30 Torch Up! Art Installations and NILA's Quest, a web-based digital game specially created for the SEA Games 2015.
Supporters were also given the chance to to experience sports such as football and badminton in the middle of Orchard Road. (All photos by VoxSports)
