Let's shed those CNY weight gain!

It's that time of the year again where it is perfectly alright to feast on pineapple tarts, love letters and salty-sweet beef jerky, or bak kwa for the uninitiated. For some, it is also a time where diet plans are thrown out of the window and weight gain is inevitable.

A familiar scenario to many; once Chinese New Year is over, we start to regret our dietary decisions and fret about what is the fastest way to lose those excess weight. Of course, prevention is better than cure, so the key is eating all the wonderful food in moderation.

Good news for those who wish to stay fit, look good and not cut back on the festive feasting though; ActiveSG has in store some activities for you and your family over this festive period so that you do not have to be worried about significant weight gain post-CNY!

Sundays @ the Park

Head on down to parks from 22 February in Taman Jurong, Tampines, Choa Chu Kang, Sembawang and Sengkang where a host of energetic routines like Piloxing and Zumba are led by our amazing ActiveSG instructors. Say goodbye to those calories!

ActiveSG Athletics Club

Are your children bored with all the home visitations? Bring a smile to their faces by signing them up for our Athletics Club, where kids and youth will learn and develop athletic skills.

They will experience, practice and compete in modified age-appropriate versions of all athletics disciplines; Run, Jump and Throw over a 10-week programme, which will start from 28 February.

ActiveSG Aqua Fiesta Challenge 2015

If you love swimming, this event is for you!

Participants from the ages of 6 and above can take part two challenges - Individual and School Team. In these challenges, each swimmer is required to complete as many laps as possible during the stipulated time of three hours.

This challenge will guarantee that you have an awesome workout and burn some calories, so see you at Serangoon Sports Centre on 7 March!
