Just like the main event, the WTA Finals Fan Zone is back again this year, with a range of innovative tennis-themed activities to keep fans entertained outside of Centre Court.
Besides exclusive meet-and-greet sessions with some of the biggest names in women’s tennis, visitors can also expect tons of family-friendly fun at the different interactive booths – more than 20 this year!

“It’s fun and creative as there’s no other booths here adapting such a smart idea of using paint to promote tennis!” exclaimed Lorenzo Ballkid Raksha Murali, who had just completed her very own tennis art masterpiece, using the racquet and paintballs on offer at the SC Global Tennis For Every Child Grand Splat.
“Even if you’re not tennis inclined, this is a really good place for you to start learning about tennis.”
Just next to SC Global’s Grand Splat booth, the StarHub Speed Serve allows those who are new to tennis to get a taste of the sport. Meanwhile tennis enthusiasts can clock the top speeds of their serves to see how far off they are from the world’s best female players.

If pitting yourself against tennis elite isn’t enough to satisfy your burning passion for the sport, head over to the OCBC Virtual Reality (VR) Interactive Tennis Experience to feed your fire.
In this one-of-a-kind VR session, participants can battle it out with a virtual opponent in a five-minute-long simulation and get a unique “on-court experience”.
“It’s very interesting because it’s like you’re in the game itself and it’s very lifelike. When you hit the ball, it feels like it really goes back to the other court,” said James Ong, who was first player to pass through all three stages of the game.

Located prominently at the center of the Fan Zone, the SAP’s Social Media Wall is a state-of-the-art installation, enabling tennis lovers to discover trending topics and view tournament statistics. Fans can also dive into the treasure trove of player statistics and profiles, as well as virtual replays at the SAP Match Center.
Before leaving the Fan Zone, one should definitely visit title partner BNP Paribas’ booth for giveaways and photo opportunities, including the one available at the trick eye wall. Visitors can get a picture of themselves playing against 21-time Grand Slam champion Serena Williams, which will certainly be a snapshot like no other.
