CYCLING
Team Singapore’s Dinah Chan started strongly in the nine-lap, 126km Women’s Road Race Final on Monday afternoon and was up in third place during Lap 4. However, it was Thailand's Jutatip Maneephan – a Gold medallist in the 2009 SEA Games - who had the final say in race, bagging Gold ahead of Vietnam's Nguyen Thi That (Silver) and Chinese Taipei's Hsiao Mei Yu. Chan eventually finished 10th in a field of 23 competitors.

DIVING

Women's synchronised divers Fong Kay Yian and Myra Lee finished sixth out of six pairs, scoring a total of 205.68 points in the 3m Springboard Final.

Singapore’s men’s team concluded their Asian Games campaign with a 5-3 victory over Sri Lanka to end with a final ranking of ninth. Singapore made a strong start to the game, leading 2-0 after the first quarter and 3-0 at halftime before coping well with a determined response from their opponents.

WATER POLO

China proved to be a step too far for Team Singpore's water polo players, who fell to a 25-5 defeat to the Silver medalists from four years ago. However the Singaporeans have a chance to end their tournament on a high note when they play their classification game for 5th-6th place against an opponent yet to be determined.
