First there will be the stars. Over 60 of the best swimmers in the world, with Olympic medalists and World champions among them, will compete for supremacy in a unique showdown and set fire to Singapore's brand new OCBC Aquatic Centre situated at the Sports Hub.

In an innovative format that has never ever been seen elsewhere, there will be music, sprints, speed and splashes, and lots of suspense when the two best swimmers end up competing head-to-head in a showdown.

The 2 hour show will also feature beautiful synchronised swimming performances, and is designed to excite the watching fans. "Our ambition is to make Singapore Swim Stars the biggest event after the Olympic Games and World Championships," said Harald Eltvedt, Swim Stars Event Director based in Singapore. The event will be broadcasted in more than 55 countries.

Kids to meet the Stars

Singapore Swim Stars is even more than an exciting evening with world champions. Star swimmers will give clinics in several schools in the city. They will not only provide children with tips on swimming but also share the values of sport in order to guide their lives. At the end of the clinic, they will also choose a team to compete, along with them, in a special Stars & Kids relay at the OCBC Aquatic Centre on the same day. Proceeds of the tickets will help support SportCares and benefit the less fortunate children: a once in a lifetime experience.

Open Water Swimming Events

In addition to show casing the world’s best athletes, the overall program will also allow everyone to challenge themselves in two open water events, to be held at NRSCC Sea Sports Centre, Changi Village on the Sunday morning. A 4-km challenge will be reserved for the best swimmers, but perhaps the most exciting draw is the 800 metres swim that is open to the general public, either as an individual or as a team. Singapore Swim Stars will also be providing free rides to participants so that they can utilise private car service company Uber in order to get to the race.

All tickets are open for sales with early bird specials available until July 31st at the following websites:
