He said, “I am very happy to be here to attend the 20th Commonwealth Games to support Team Singapore. I had a tour of the premises and facilities. Everything looks very organised, facilities are first rate, the athletes look very comfortable and are settling down well. They are in very good spirits, rearing to go for the competition. We look forward to some sterling performances from them, which I am confident they will deliver and win a few medals. I wish them all the best for their performance for the Commonwealth Games, I am sure Singapore will be very proud for them in the next two weeks. Well done and go for it Team Singapore.”
