Team Singapore canoeists all did well in the obstacle slalom and have advanced to the repechage event in the afternoon.

Team Singapore canoeist Geraldine Lee finished 11th out of 14 competitors with a timing of 1:27.97 while team mate Annabelle Ng posted an impressive performance to finished eighth out of 14 competitors with a timing of 1:23.12.

The men’s team faced stiffer competition as Brandon Ooi finished 15th out of 19 competitors with a
timing of 1:14.64. Muhammad Syaheenul Aiman Bin Nasiman finished 17th with a timing of


Thailand continued their charge toward a fifth consecutive Asian Games Gold medal in men's regu as they beat Singapore 0-2 at the Bucheon Gymnasium. Team Singapore did not qualify for the semifinals.

Team Singapore’s Lee Cheng Wei, who set a Personal Best of 21.57 seconds in Tuesday’s Men’s 200m Heats, clocked 22.17 seconds in the semifinals on Wednesday morning to finish 17th out of 23 competitors. His team mate Muhammad Naqib Bin Asmin finished one position higher at 16th with a timing of 22.15 seconds.


Team Singapore’s women’s rugby team lost to China 0-43 in their morning fixture at the Namdong Rugby Field and will face Uzbekistan later today.
