Schwechat, Austria, 19 June 2013 - Singaporean duo Josh Chua and Pearlyn Koh achieved impressive results in the International Table Tennis Federation (ITTF) World Hopes Week and Challenge held from 9-17 June 2013.

The Crocodile Cup winners were part of 65 young talents from different continents that converged on Werner Schlager Academy for the week-long event, as youths received quality training and competitive opportunities.

Chua Shao Han Josh, of Catholic High  school, was delighted to be part of the competition which saw him emerge as overall third in the Boys Singles.

“This is the first time I had the opportunity to compete with so many paddlers from around the world. This overseas training programme provided me with a wonderful experience and has inspired me to train even harder to achieve the international level or beyond,” said Josh.

Koh Kai Xin Pearlyn, who finished Top 8 in the Girls Singles, echoed Josh’s sentiments.

“It was an incredible experience, and I made a lot of new friends who share the same passion for table tennis. I thank STTA and Crocodile International for making this training opportunity possible.”
