STTA provides many facilities and venues for athletes to practice. They cater to both recreational and competitive players. They based mostly in Community Clubs and appear to have the widest network in Singapore. Because the public rental rates are high on the STTA website, its best to first join their network.

The People’s Association have jointly set up with them a National Network of PAssion Table Tennis Clubs which are table tennis sports interest groups.

The PAssion Table Tennis clubs aim to engage and promote community and family bonding amongst residents. They encourage anybody to come forward to join the club. You may join to learn to play leisurely or competitively and you can even volunteer to be a leader.

Interested participants can head over to any of the PAssion Table Tennis Clubs which are based all over Singapore.

3. Anchorvale Community Club

Table tennis enthusiasts have been regularly holding table tennis sessions every Tuesday at Anchorvale Community Club’s multi-purpose hall. They welcome anybody and everybody to join in and there are a total of 5 tables with balls and nets provided.

To top it off, it only costs a small sum of $2.00 per person. The sessions are held from 6.30pm to 9.30pm every Tuesday unless the CC requires the place for events or if its a public holiday.

You can visit their community forum ibkube to check out the other games and events they hold and to interact with other table tennis enthusiasts.

4. Happy Table Tennis

This private table tennis space has a welcoming and casual feel to it, thanks to the owner Loh Men Kuan who opened this club ten years ago. Loh managed to garner a strong and loyal following and his club is popular with folks of all ages who mostly come here in the afternoons to practice.

Even though he is sustaining this place at a  loss, Loh remains committed to providing a space to nurture young talents. It costs $10 per hour to rent a table and 65 year old Loh even offers coaching advice to the younger players who are serious in taking their passion to greater heights.
