Editor's thoughts: Jurgen Klopp probably regrets making those comments about Everton before this match because he sure fired up their players who played their guts out to hold Liverpool to a goalless draw. Salah again failed to impress and Everton could have sneaked a win here if they had been more clinical in front of goal. On the other hand, Manchester City huffed and puffed their way to a narrow win over Bournemouth who had no shots on goal whatsoever. However, this marks the first time that they are above Liverpool after playing the same number of games since 7 December. Now, that’s a big statement in the race to the title.
