Martial arts are great forms of physical and mental training. It involves simple movement skills training that gradually increases in complexity. You also acquire self-defence skills!

Each style of Martial Art is unique and training in them has its own benefits. However, what is common among them are the following:

  • Increased mental focus
  • Better stamina and flexibility
  • Improved body coordination
  • Better self-discipline, confidence and respect for others
  • Ability to take hits and better resilience

Children and adults will benefit from training under our coaches and instructors who are certified members of the National Registry of Coaches (NROC).

SCHOOL HOLIDAY PROGRAMMES

Aikido Aikido

Aikido is a modern Japanese martial art that enables one to defend against an opponent of superior size and strength through the use of smooth, circular movements. It is very suitable for children to practice and teaches respect and self-confidence. This workshop will provide students with an understanding of Aikido through hands-on exercises, which comprise a variety of basic Aikido self-defence techniques.

Taekwondo Taekwondo

Taekwondo is a Korean martial art characterised by high, spinning kicks and fast kicking techniques. It is great for training strength, flexibility and agility, as well as developing character like discipline, humility, and respect.
Learn basic stances, blocks, punches and kicks in this 1-hour workshop.

Silat Pencak Silat

Pencak Silat is an ancient martial art stemming from the Malay Archipelago and Indonesian islands. It incorporates unarmed combat as well as weapons training. It is practiced in over 60 countries globally and competitions are regularly held.
