Facilities for Outdoor Classes

Registered instructors will be allowed to conduct group outdoor classes at outdoor spaces within the SportSG facilities, public parks & HDB common areas. The class capacity is capped at 30 pax, or lower depending on venue capacity and safe management measures.

Instructors will need to be registered under a framework, which is jointly administered by SportSG and agency partners, before the classes can take place.

Registration can be done online and an email response will be given within three working days. Registered instructors must keep a digital/physical copy of the email as proof of successful registration, which may be requested by Enforcement Officers or Safe Distancing Ambassadors during random checks.

Successfully registered instructors will be eligible to book the open outdoor spaces and will be responsible for ensuring that the Safe Management Measures are put in place and adhered to during classes. These measures include temperature and symptoms screening, safe distancing, and maintaining a list of participants and their groupings, in venues where SafeEntry is not deployed. Registered instructors, as well as their participants, must follow the stipulated Safe Management Measures and any other conditions stipulated by the facility owner.

Registered instructors who wish to book newly opened spaces in SportSG facilities can book the facilities here or via the ActiveSG app from 10 August 2021 onwards. You will have to first register as ActiveSG member before you can book the facilities.
