With the launch of the first Active Health Sport-in-Precinct (SIP) at Jurong Spring Playfields on 7 July 2018, Active Health aims to provide the community with a wider range of sport facilities that are easily accessible, right at your neighbourhood!
Active Health totems with tips on how to manage your health and wellness are located around the park. You can scan through QR codes on the totems to learn small habits through the four domains of physical activity, nutrition, sleep and screen-time management. Overtime, these tips and habits that are based on expertise knowledge of exercise, sport science, medicine, health and wellness can create a big impact in your lifestyle. At the exercise stations, there are also QR codes that you can scan through to learn the correct techniques and the types of exercises that you can perform using that equipment.
Believing in the strength of social bonds, Team Nila volunteers are trained as Active Health Champions, who can facilitate self-organised exercise sessions and offer support to residents who are keen to embark on the Active Health journey.
