The art of Jump Rope

Jump Rope, or commonly known as skipping, is a very familiar sport to us, especially when we were little kids. The popularity of jump rope has exploded over the past few years, as more have discovered the tremendous benefits of this sport. It is great for all fitness and ability levels and it fits in with all training goals. Come and join us in this workshop whereby Jump Rope Federation Singapore, the National Federation will share with us basic jump rope knowledge and techniques, with a short demonstration by our very own National Jump Rope Athlete! The national Jump Rope grading programme and coaching accreditation programme will also be shared for those who like to take this sport to a higher level.

Intro to Scuba Diving: Our 5 Senses (Talk)

The underwater world is an intriguing environment to many, and so fascinating it was to Jason that he decided to be closer to them by switching to a scuba diving career 3 years ago. Having worked (underwater) in various countries such as Singapore Indonesia, Thailand and Maldives, he will be presenting insights into scuba diving through our 5 senses: HEAR the corals crackle, why we should not TOUCH marine life, how our TASTE in life change after a few years of diving, our ability to SEE people talk underwater, and can sharks really SMELL us when we bleed underwater?
